OSTRENKO LAB PROGRAM
The workshop program is focused on the Ostrenko brothers' approach of actor’s training, relying on the Russian Theatre Tradition, as well as the newest experiments in performing arts. Performer's physicality in the methods of K.Stanislavsky, M.Chekhov, Vs.Meyerhold's Biomechanics, Tai-chi for performers, training by method of improvisation, scene composition from an exercise to a performance. These are some of the elements uniquely transformed and combined in Ostrenko's teaching system to suit the needs of contemporary performers, directors, and teachers.
Participants will practically explore the performer's physicality as the principal creative instrument, the key to form and style an atmosphere and emotional palette in contemporary performance, stepping beyond the limits of normative text-based acting.
Practical workshops, presentations, works in progress, lectures, and discussions with performing arts teachers from all around the world. The program is forming now, follow the news!

IUGTE Lab and Conference offer a great opportunity to approach a unique methodological and practical material that will enrich your professional skills and offer you the possibility of sharing an intense creative experience at a global level!

Regular Fee: 950 EUR
*The fee covers participation in all events of the program - practical training, lectures and discussions with S. Ostrenko and the full conference program.

The certificate is provided after student's participation in the training and submitting the report/essay of their experience at the program (1500 words).
