The international program aims at performance and movement practitioners from all over the world interested in acting, movement and physical theatre, as well as practicing directors of the physical theatre, drama theatre, musical theatre, choreographers and circus directors.
PHYSICALITY IN ACTING
This workshop offers special sessions in the field of physical theatre, directing and universal training for performers of different genres. Practical sessions are designed to enhance the understanding of improvisation, performance making, rehearsal processes, and skills in pedagogy.
The workshop is open to practitioners interested to expand and diversify their professional vocabulary, instructors who work with actors, practitioners from sport and holistic mind-body practices interested to improve their understanding of practical and theoretical aspects of movement in contemporary performance.
The working language is English.
OSTRENKO BROTHERS METHOD
In Ostrenko's approach, performance is considered from a Systems perspective. This means that all aspects of the production are closely intertwined and work together for maximum result on stage.
The Ostrenkos' approach relies on the combination of practice and theory to create innovative productions. It aims at giving the performers an understanding of what they want, while also providing directors with insights into how best create on stage a production or scene variation.
OSTRENKO BROTHERS METHOD is internationally renowned, from Ukraine to the USA, from Iceland to South Africa, from Canada to Australia, from Singapore to Italy and beyond.
The number of participants in the workshop is limited and the group is formed on a competitive basis from among professionals.
Sergei Ostrenko has over 30 years of professional experience as a Director, Choreographer and Performance Teacher.
Sergei has directed over 40 theatre productions, producing international projects for both the professional stage and for education in numerous countries, including Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

Certificate of Participation in this intensive training.
Evidence that you are serious about your education and professional development.
The certificate is provided after student's participation in the training and submitting the report/essay of their experience at the program (1500 words).
